MTV has a new article and photo gallery up showcasing how Twilight would have looked if it had been made in the 1980′s. What do you think of their picks? One of my favorites was Molly Ringwald as Alice, lol.

Kiefer Southerland was already a vampire in the 80′s – Lost Boys, 1987 – GREAT MOVIE!

Can we just remember them in the Breakfast Club and St. Elmo’s Fire and not drag them into this 21st Century franchise? Something about the whole thing, seeing Kiefer’s face pasted on top of Kellan’s, gave me the jeebies, and I LOVED the Lost Boys. Seeing River again just reminds me of that horrible loss.

That is seriously the funniest thing I have ever seen! And to think that Rob Pattenson was not even BORN (or was JUST born) when the Breakfast Club came out! Heck, by the time Taylor Lautner was born, most of these actors had started to fade out of popularity. But honestly, will Jonny Depp every fade? I think not.

Ha ha.. this was very funny! Didn’t really agree with any of their choices though! Johnny Depp would make a much better Edward than Jacob in my opinion. I guess tastes change over the years, but for some reason I remember all these people being more attractive in my youth! Or, maybe Twilight has redefined what beautiful means! Fun article though!

Rob Lowe would have certainly been in here somewhere. Personally, I think he would have made a better Edward than River Phoenix. I know Rob Lowe is dark haired, but he would have been able to carry off the strawberry blond look. River Phoenix would have made an outstanding Jasper, however. : ) I kind of think James Spader would have been in there as well. I can kind of see Keifer Sutherland as Emmett, but he is not the right body type. The Breakfast club movie bad boy – Judd Nelson would have been a better Emmett. Maybe if not Emmett, then one of the wolf pack for sure. : )

Johnny Depp as Jacob cracked me up, but it is so sad to see River Phoenix again. What a waste. Glad Johnny doesn’t own the Viper Room anymore.
