Expanded New Moon Trailer at 2009 MTV Video Awards

Exciting news from MTV! 

“Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will appear on the show to debut an exclusive expanded trailer for “New Moon,” the second film in Summit Entertainment’s vampire saga.

We’ll repeat that slowly for you: Fresh “New Moon” footage. Pattinson. Stewart. Lautner. Boom!

On the day of the show, MTV.com will debut the first single off the “New Moon” soundtrack, the Death Cab for Cutie tune “Meet Me on the Equinox.”

    Clever way of trying to get high ratings. They will be competing with the season finale of True Blood.

    Oh man, I didn’t realize it was the same time as the True Blood finale. I think I’ll DVR the awards and watch later, that way I can fast-forward through Russel Brand (that guy has always irked me)

    Russell Brand?? Seriously, they didn’t learn anything from last year? Ok, my previous post is voided, if he is hosting the awards are getting DVRed. lol

    I will have to watch trublood first and hope they rebroadcast the music awards again soon after man i hope it is good because i need my twilight fix to get me through til november

    I can’t believe they are using Russell Brand again and i really hope he doesn’t do this year what he did to rob last year that would be totally uncool. and i am hoping this years show doesn’t look as cheap and thrown together as last years
