Thank you for posting that so soon. It is totally amazing. I just watched it on the VMA’s half an hour ago and wanted to see it again immediately. I didn’t think it would be up so soon. So thanks again for being on top of it.

Whoa! So there are two of us Spidermonkeys here?! Amazing. I don’t recall writing that post….then again…maybe I’m becoming two monkeys! LOL! Anyway, yeah, I think this New Moon is going to be fantastic!

Spidermonkey you are totally right. My husband is one of those people who hates all things Twilight and he happened to walk behind me while I was watching the trailer and said he actually wants to see the movie…I MEAN OME LOL

I personally loved it and from the scenes it looked like they added I can’t wait to see how to turns out. YOU ARE AWESOME CHRIS.

Wow, am thirty-something and am crying like a baby, OME when Bella says that is like someone puch a hole in her chest………… and the scene when she’s drawning and Jacob pull her out Wow she looks so….like I have imagine resign because she is dying with the love of her life in her mind… : ( I guess am crying the whole night.

As good and better than I imagined. Chris Weitz mentioned once in one of his interviews that the coloring of New Moon would be quite different than Twilight; more conventional and traditional. After seeing the first sneek peak, and now especially this one, its so amazing how color can intensify the emotional response in the scenes. Very happy for Chris Weitz success and very excited for the film – it took my breath away. Ok, now I gotta go watch it again and again and again…

    I wasn’t sure before. . . . . but Holy Crow!!

I think the essence of the book was captured and I am ready to see this movie. (and again, and again, and again)

The elements I had questions about before–the wolves, Janes look, etc.–have be satisfied.

The stepped up wardrobe, makeup, everything, looks fantastic.

Please let the movie live up to the promise of the trailer!!!

Absolutely stunning. Now that I’ve caught my breath though….How on earth will Edward fight the volturi and make it out alive??? I’m turning over a few different ideas, but it will be interesting to see how the wrote that!

DISAPPOINTED! The trailer was great, yes! But what was extended about it? I saw this trailer save for the last (literally) 2 seconds of fight scene with the Volturi, on YouTube.

Oh well! I think that I’ll wait now to watch the entire movie because I feel like I’ve seen it anyway, just out of order, what with all of the trailers that have been released by Summit!

Is anyone else a little bit confused by all the fighting in the Volturi scene? It looks really cool and I’m sure it will add to the drama of the Volturi scenes BUT isn’t it the whole point that there was a restrained/implied violence about them because Aro held all of the “young” vampires in check while he dealt with Edward, Bella and Alice?

Oh yeah, one more thing, the makeup looks great I think on the Volturi. Totally awesome! But I think I liked the makeup and hair of the Cullens better in Twilight. Seriously, I don’t see how they are supposed to be able to fit into society in Forks. They totally stand out in New Moon whereas in Twilight I could see them blending in.

    Just my humble opinions.

This is just freaking tooooo good!!!!

Hope the movie does live up to all the hype. Looks totally awesome right now. Love the apparitions of Edward. Especially the cliff diving scene where Jacob saves Bella and Edward vanishes under her hand. Even more action iwth the Volturi!!!!

I so cannot wait until November.

    I. Cannot. Breathe.
    Wow, wow, wow.
Everything is so great. When Charlie is searching in the woods and a vampire drops from a tree behind him–aaaahhhh!! That gave me chills.
Also, when Edward says “You can go to hell”, referring to Felix taking Bella, I just loved loved loved it. I can’t even type and I’ve hit the back button so many times it’s crazy, ha ha! I’m going back to watch it over and over.

I’ve been holding out on this film because there were some things I just wasn’t in love with, like the added color (yes, I did like the cool tones in Twilight) and the look of Edward (college English professor comes to mind) but after this extended trailer, I am FULLY on the bandwagon!! It looks absolutely AMAZING!! My 2 fav snippets … when Victoria drops down from the trees as Charlie and the Forks PD searches in the forest for Bella. And when Demetri body slams Edward onto the marble steps!! Sooooo intense. Cannot wait! Love Chris Weitz now!!!

The scene of Bella having nightmares was very dramatic and showed visually the pain she was going through, more than just reading it in the book.

Kristen was adorable and beautiful last night at the awards, of course, as was Rob and Taylor! :)

I can’t stop watching it, I think I might need to seek professional help :P
This is the movie all us fans have been waiting for and I truly hope it only gets better from here. If David Slade does as good as Chris Weitz and sticks to the books Eclipse will be amazing. Taylor said in his interview that David was going more dark with the film I truly hope he doesn’t lose the most important part this is a love story and the action is important of course but it is still a love story.
Can’t wait for November to get here!
