New Moon Corn Maze

Posted on 05. Sep, 2009 by in News

It’s fall in Utah and those of us that live here know what that means- Corn Mazes!!  They are everywhere this time of year.  The Deseret News has tracked down the Corn Maze that all of us Twilighters are going to want to go to (and conveniently it’s about 15 minutes from my house).

The second “Twilight” movie is arriving early in northern Utah, sort of.

The theme of Utah’s largest corn maze this year is “New Moon,” the sequel in the popular Twilight saga.

Although the movie doesn’t arrive in theaters until Nov. 20, this 24-acre corn maze opens Sept. 24 and continues through Oct. 31.

Aerial photos show that two separate “Twilight”-themed maze patterns at Black Island Farms, 3178 S. 3000 West, have already been cut into the corn — a “Team Jacob” and a “Team Edward.” (In the movie, Bella can choose Edward or Jacob as her boyfriend.)

The lettering “New moon 11-20-09″ is also a part of the maze.

If you live in Utah and want to get lost in the New Moon Maze you can find all the details at the Black Island Farms website

Awesome! We have corn mazes here where I live too, (Louisiana), but none as cool as these. I think the last one I went to was a crawfish shape. I’d much rather be walking through Edward’s head. lol
