Peter Facinelli’s favorite Carlisle line

Larry Carroll talked to Peter Facinelli about New Moon and asked him what his favorite Carlisle line is in the film.  I’m not going to post the line here, you’ll have to check out Larry’s interview to find out what it is but here’s what Peter had to say about it. 

Facinelli: [In "New Moon"] Carlisle says it, and it’s very Carlisle-esque.

MTV: Well, then, tell us about the day you got to deliver the line on the “New Moon” set. Was it everything you had hoped it would be?

Facinelli: I hope so. God, I hope so. You know, it was a line that wasn’t in the script. It was in the book, and I asked Chris Weitz if we could put it in the movie, because I liked that line.

Can I just tell you that this Team Carlisle girl is absolutely ecstatic that Peter fought to have the line in New Moon?!?!?  It’s one of those essential Carlisle quotes and I would have been so sad if it hadn’t made it into the movie.
