September- TwilightMOMS Style

The brilliant Shimmerskin has done it again-
First of all, it is Apple Month. ‘Nuff said.
Also, its flower is the Aster. “Aster” means “star,” a celestial phenomenon. We like celestial phenomena, especially new moons and eclipses.
Sapphire is the September birthstone, hence Bella’s birthstone, too. Sapphires are commonly dark blue, Edward Cullen’s favorite color. On Bella.
September is Classical Music Month. Edward plays classical music on his piano. Renee plays it on hers. Bella plays it on CD.
Likewise, it is also National Piano Month.
It is Better Breakfast Month. “Watch me hunt.”
It is National Honey Month. Edward smells like honey (and lilac and sun).
September is Grandparents Month. Carlisle, Esme, and Charlie are some examples of grandparents.
The first week of September is Child Accident Prevention Week. If Bella had known, would it have done any good?
The fourth week is Banned Books Week. We could read The Hunger Games that week.
Now for the days.
Sept. 1 = American Chess Day. Including red pawns and white queens.
Sept. 2 = Old Timer’s Day. Notify the Volturi.
Sept. 4 = Full moon. Notify the werewolves? J/K
Sept. 5 = Be Late For Something Day. Thank goodness it wasn’t Sept. 5 when Bella went to Italy!
……The 5th is also Cheese Pizza Day. Shouldn’t every day be Cheese Pizza Day? After all, even Edward can’t help biting into a cheese pizza!
Sept. 6 = Read A Book Day. Like we need an excuse.
Sept. 8 = International Literacy Day. Twilight contributes to international literacy.
Sept. 13 = Bella Cullen’s birthday. It is also Stephenie Meyer Day in Forks, WA.
Sept. 15 = Anniversary of penicillin. Treating infected injuries since 1928! Bella thanks Alexander Fleming. (Edward thanks him more).
Sept. 10 = Shimmerskin’s wedding anniversary. Just thought I’d throw that in there.
Sept. 11 = Make Your Bed Day. Or in Edward’s case, Make Your Couch Day.
Sept. 14 = National Cream-filled Donut Day. Mmmmmmm, donuts….

Sorry. Got distracted.
Sept. 16 = Wife Appreciation Day. Notify the husbands.
Sept. 17 = Apple Dumpling Day. Made of? Why, apples, of course.
Sept. 19 = National Student Day. We study Twilight. Studiously.
Sept. 24 = Punctuation Day!!!! Twilight has plenty! Of punctuation?
Sept. 30 = National Mulled Cider Day. Mulling cider, mulling over Twilight, (mooning over Edward)…nice way to close a nice month.

Also, September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness month!! To keep in the theme of the post, that relates to TwilightMoms because Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (our official charity) benefits pediatric cancer research and helping kids with cancer!
BTW- Jaime you are awesome!!
