Entertainment Weekly has posted a review of the New Moon Soundtrack-

On a good day, film soundtracks enhance the moviegoing experience. At their best, they transcend it. The latest sonic accompaniment to Twilight‘s inescapable teen-vampire juggernaut — a swooning conveyance of girl-meets-undead-boy romance, delivered by some of the best established and emerging names in the indie stratosphere — may sway even the most committed Twi-loathers.

Wow. .Great!!!. . .It’s awesome, it definitely gives the movie another one of a kind effect and could enhance more the overall impact of the movie to the viewers.

    Nice post . . .

I’m so psyched! I bet this soundtrack is something the young cast feels proud of, too. I’m so glad the soundtrack was taken in this alternative and moody direction.

On another note, prior to the big New Moon party we’re throwing, we’re asking all of the guests to submit their favorite song of love and longing. We’re making our own soundtrack that we’ll burn to disc and give as a favor.

Rebecca, what a great idea!! That sounds like so much fun! Although, I have to say, this soundtrack is pretty fantastic. There are a few songs that don’t do a whole lot for me, but the others are great. Especially the one from DCFC… talk about perfect for New Moon!

They gave it their seal of approval but they failed to comment on The Killers’ participation. Even non Twilight fans are excited about this release. Can’t wait!!!

I can’t wait for this soundtrack to come out! I’ve been thumping my Twilight one for what seems like forever! It’s about time for some fresh music.. And seriously?? DCFC, The Killers, and Band of Skulls?! It doesn’t get any better than that. I reeeeally love “Friends” by BoS! Arg, I want my copy already!!!
