The Daily Telegraph and Rob Pattinson

Posted on 26. Oct, 2009 by in News

The Daily Telegraph has a new story about Rob posted. Here’s some snippet:

The star has just wrapped up a 12-hour day onset, where he’s been shooting a fight scene all week, and is apologetic when he stumbles over his words. “Sorry, I need to wait for my brain,” he explains.

“I need to get it back into thinking mode.” After working almost non-stop since January, he admits he needs a holiday.

“Before these movies, I worked about 10 days a year and that was more my pace,” he laughs.

If Pattinson is letting fame go to his head, he’s showing no sign of it today. He plays the self-effacing, hesitant Brit to a tee, admitting his parents are prouder of his achievements than he is. “They’re always saying I should be really proud of myself, but I say, ‘It’s luck, everything is just luck.’”

Awww, what a sweetie pie! He clearly shows why so many of us love him so much. He is down to earth, humble and honest. No wonder his mom and dad are proud of him. We’re proud of you to, Rob! Love, Your ever faithful Twi-Moms :)

I think Rob is wonderful. I love his presence! He is so un-hollywood. Does not appear to be full of himself. He is right-it is luck to be in the right place at the right time. He comes across as humble, thankful and honest. You can’t help but love this guy. I do wish he would not put himself down though. Being the star in Twilight and having two of his songs in the movie and on soundtrack is a great achievement. He does not look like a posser or over reaching. I love it. Truly a bonus for his fans.

I agree that Robert is the most humble actor I’ve ever met. He always applauds his supporting cast and crew and NEVER takes any credit himself, saying that it’s just luck. Which is halfway true, but truly, if he didn’t give the amount of commitment he did to this project, if he just saw it as a job and a way to gain fame and his “foot in the door” of Hollywood, this movie could have fallen flat! I know that I am one of thousands of women who got into the movie AND the entire series based solely on his thoughtful performance!!

Sorry, didn’t mean to say “met”, as I’ve never met him, but he’s comes off as the most humble of guys!
