Tinsel Korey as Emily Young

Posted on 02. Oct, 2009 by in News

The Twilight Lexicon in twittering from the Chicago Twilight convention this weekend. They posted a picture of Tinsel Korey in her Emily makeup.  I’m not going to post it here because it’s a major spoiler but you can see it here

If you looked- what do you think? Is that how you pictured Emily’s scars?

This is not how I imagined her scars would look like. I thought there would be more scars and that they would look a lot worse. I thought the scars would be deeper and wider because it’s not from a little wild cat, it’s from a ginormous wolf. I liked it though, it looked realistic. I don’t get why under her eye on the side of the scars has to be so much darker than under her other eye. Any other thoughts?

Oh, and I thought one side of her mouth is supposed to be down turned. I guess she is supposed to still look pretty, but they could of done a better job.

That is exactly what I thought, that the scars would be wider and deeper. But I guess they didn’t want to ruin her looks too much. It’s fine I guess. I’ve learned with the movies versus the books, you just take what they give you because the reality of it is is that they could not do the movies at all, and that would suck!:)

i thought it looked good. however it was not as i had her pictured. in my head she had one long scar from her eye down thru her lips and her eye was pulled down funny. but considering it was a wolf that made the scar i guess it would make more sense to have 3 scars. lol can’t WAIT!

It’s not really what I pictured. I thought they would be deeper gouges and that the mouth would turn down like a frown. But, I think it does look realistic, not too over-the-top.

I agree with the pp…not nearly as bad as I pictured because, like said, they are wolf not cat scratches. They look good, just not dramatic enough for me…
