Twilighters Anonymous has a great interview with Charlie Bewley, who describes Demetri as “very close to who I am.” Charlie talks about discussing Demetri with Stephenie, who he calls “an absolute cool chick” and the Volturi Mafia hierarchy (I love his description), how many Volturi scenes are true to the book in New Moon and if he ever reads Twilight fansites. *waves* (you know, just in case 
).
The audio interview is in the video below. And I gotta say, I love audio interviews with actors, to hear them talk in their own words about the characters and hear their sense of humor and personality come though is great. The interview has also been transcribed here.

Thank you for sharing that with us! I loved hearing him answer, listening to his inflections and personality coming through! He does seem to be a great deal like Demetri in many ways: confident, fun-loving, active, out-going, strong-willed….but not evil ;~D

Great interview! I love how Charlie is so open and forthcoming with information about his involvement with New Moon and his opinions on things. He seems like a very down to earth guy who enjoys his fans without being dazzled by the fame. I think after the New Moon premiers, his fanbase will quadruple! I wish he would be one of the actors to come to the Twilight Convention in San Francisco next February!
