TwilightMOMS Giveaway- Boho Girl & Bella Wish
Posted on 28. Oct, 2009 by gypsy wings in News
Hey everyone!! I am so very very excited to share this weeks giveaway with you all. The 2 companies we are featuring are run by people that I have absolutely adored and admired for quite some time now.
First up is my lovely friend Denise, or Boho Girl. I first “met” Denise several years ago when I first got into blogging and was immediately drawn to her. The honesty in which she shares her story, and her authenticity, not to mention her raw talent made me feel an instant connection to her. She is someone who has inspired me deeply even before I ever actually emailed or spoke with her.

Denise is a Photographer of Artists * Writer * Designer * Wife * Mother * Daughter * Sister * Friend * Bohemian * Tree Hugger * Seeker * Gentle Warrior… and so much more. She also has the coolest hair on the planet, the most fabulous wardrobe I have ever seen, and when I hugged her she smelled really nice
She is basically a Goddess. And today she is offering you the chance to win some of her gorgeous art. If you are chosen as the winner you will win Tiny Buds, which are two 5×7 prints that are intended to be hung side by side.
Each photograph is a high quality giclee (zhee-klay) print. They are printed with the finest archival inks and paper available for a detailed gallery-quality print. Each print comes matted with an antique white, acid-free mat and foam back board. The mat size that comes with this print is 8×10 and will be signed and dated.

Our second prize today comes from my friend Stacy, owner of Bella Wish. I was introduced to Stacy by Denise actually a while back and was so happy to have been introduced. Stacy is such an amazing person, and her talent is so huge I am honored to have her do a giveaway with us. I asked Stacy to share a little about herself and her business.

Hi,
My name is Stacy Anne de la Rosa.
I believe stories connect us. I am inspired by those share their journeys in life; we each have a story to tell.
I am someone who is continuously learning to embrace my own journey and share my story. I waited a long time for my baby girl to arrive and during my third pregnancy, the word HOPE became my mantra.
When my daughter, Isabella Wish, was born she received dozens of wishes from women all around the globe. If you would like to read more about her story, and myself, you may do so at http://stacied.typepad.com/schmoopy/2008/02/thank-you.html.
I was so touched by this gesture that I was inspired to create a necklace using the word HOPE, which holds great meaning for me.
From there I designed a line of beautiful, vintage-inspired, oxidized sterling silver jewelry stamped with soul-filled messages designed to empower women and girls everywhere.
May you always be inspired and empowered to unlock your dreams and tell your story.
Stacy is giving away a HOPE Necklace. A 5/8″ Sterling Silver rounded square stamped with the word: HOPE. Accents include sterling silver heart charm embraced in a circle, and a Moonstone briolette ~ Moonstone is the stone of new beginnings. This comes on a 16″ Sterling Silver Cable Chain on a spring clasp.

My favorite item of Stacy’s is the “unlock the dream” necklace. I began reading the Twilight series as a form of escape when my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I tore through the series, and read it several times throughout my Mom’s illness. My mom valiantly fought against the disease, but lost the battle. I find inspiration in my Mom’s strength and bravery everyday. I also find inspiration in all the dreams my mother never fulfilled. I work everyday to “unlock my dreams” and strive to make as many dreams as I can come true. I recently climbed a mountain, entered some of my poetry into contests, and began writing a book! I no longer fear failure, I only fear not ever trying. Inspiration is everywhere, even in the darkest moments of our lived. I hope everyon lives a little of their dream everyday!

I find inspiration in my life through my daughter. Everything she does, everything she discovers feels like magic to her and it amazes me. It makes me want to keep that magic alive and it makes me listen to the child inside of me. Live is magic and even as adult we should look at everything with a child eye.

I am really new to all this but “I feel inspired.” I find inspiration in words, colors and ideas. I am a thinker, sometimes I think too much, over kill.
I am inspired by husband, who inspires me to be a better wife and focus on communication. My children, two boys, inspire me to be a better mom, remind me of responsibilities, and to create memories for them. I am inspired by myself most of all. The thinker in me never stops and my heart is always overflowing with kindness and love, sometimes another downfall. You, inspired me to write this! Thank you!

I find inspiration in passionate people! Nothing is more inspiring to me than someone who truly believes in what they are doing!
I also find inspiration in my mother-in-law who just passed away after a brave and difficult 7 years fighting cancer. Her whole goal was to meet more grandbabies and teach about the Grace in her life- both of which she did! When she was diagnosed with breast cancer there was just one baby- Clayton- now I have David, age 6 and Audrey, age 3 who knew and loved her deeply!

My greatest inspiration is my mum. She has been through incredible hardships in her life and finally at the age of 43(!! I know, she had me at 17!) I get the privilege of seing her blossom into the person she always were, but never capable of showing. She is now studying to be a nurse, she’s got new friends and I couldn’t be happier for her.
she has taught me how much one can overcome and how you yourself are responsible for your happiness.

My favourites are the ‘Sea Bubbles’ and ‘Windmill’ – really great photos. Specially ‘Windmill’ has such a lonely and desolate feeling to it. a
As for the necklaces: ‘Searching’ and ‘Breathe Deeply Often’ are both statements I connect with wholeheartedly.
Both women are inspired artists and fierce!

I find inspiration from my human and animal family. My mother has persevered throughout her life (even though she has suffered a great many personal losses and tragedies – she continues on even when she feels like it might be impossible to do so). And ironically, my darling four legged dog. He was abused in his first home. And amazingly even though he has seen the worst humanity has to offer, he has learned over time to trust and love. It’s a daily reminder that we all can get past anything if we open our hearts.

Inspiration comes from my work… I assist new Mother’s with their first feedings. I am so blessed to have a job working with new families and their newborns. Thinking
about how many babies I have pick up and held over a year. comes to well over 3,000 babies. Amazing.

Love your beautiful work; it is amazing. My inspiration comes from adversity and from within myself. As a single mom breast cancer survivor who is not yet out of the woods, I have learned that I can do things I never dreamed possible. As a friend recently said, “Brick walls will not keep me out; they will simply allow me to show how much I want in.”
