TwilightMOMS Giveaway- Boho Girl & Bella Wish
Posted on 28. Oct, 2009 by gypsy wings in News
Hey everyone!! I am so very very excited to share this weeks giveaway with you all. The 2 companies we are featuring are run by people that I have absolutely adored and admired for quite some time now.
First up is my lovely friend Denise, or Boho Girl. I first “met” Denise several years ago when I first got into blogging and was immediately drawn to her. The honesty in which she shares her story, and her authenticity, not to mention her raw talent made me feel an instant connection to her. She is someone who has inspired me deeply even before I ever actually emailed or spoke with her.

Denise is a Photographer of Artists * Writer * Designer * Wife * Mother * Daughter * Sister * Friend * Bohemian * Tree Hugger * Seeker * Gentle Warrior… and so much more. She also has the coolest hair on the planet, the most fabulous wardrobe I have ever seen, and when I hugged her she smelled really nice
She is basically a Goddess. And today she is offering you the chance to win some of her gorgeous art. If you are chosen as the winner you will win Tiny Buds, which are two 5×7 prints that are intended to be hung side by side.
Each photograph is a high quality giclee (zhee-klay) print. They are printed with the finest archival inks and paper available for a detailed gallery-quality print. Each print comes matted with an antique white, acid-free mat and foam back board. The mat size that comes with this print is 8×10 and will be signed and dated.

Our second prize today comes from my friend Stacy, owner of Bella Wish. I was introduced to Stacy by Denise actually a while back and was so happy to have been introduced. Stacy is such an amazing person, and her talent is so huge I am honored to have her do a giveaway with us. I asked Stacy to share a little about herself and her business.

Hi,
My name is Stacy Anne de la Rosa.
I believe stories connect us. I am inspired by those share their journeys in life; we each have a story to tell.
I am someone who is continuously learning to embrace my own journey and share my story. I waited a long time for my baby girl to arrive and during my third pregnancy, the word HOPE became my mantra.
When my daughter, Isabella Wish, was born she received dozens of wishes from women all around the globe. If you would like to read more about her story, and myself, you may do so at http://stacied.typepad.com/schmoopy/2008/02/thank-you.html.
I was so touched by this gesture that I was inspired to create a necklace using the word HOPE, which holds great meaning for me.
From there I designed a line of beautiful, vintage-inspired, oxidized sterling silver jewelry stamped with soul-filled messages designed to empower women and girls everywhere.
May you always be inspired and empowered to unlock your dreams and tell your story.
Stacy is giving away a HOPE Necklace. A 5/8″ Sterling Silver rounded square stamped with the word: HOPE. Accents include sterling silver heart charm embraced in a circle, and a Moonstone briolette ~ Moonstone is the stone of new beginnings. This comes on a 16″ Sterling Silver Cable Chain on a spring clasp.

I find inspiration in my life from my youngest daughter who experienced terrible depression through her teen years & couldn’t even go to school it was so bad. She turned her life around, completed high school & is now in college training to be a youth counsellor. I admire her strength in overcoming her obstacles each & every day.

I find inspiration from my sister. She has been through many negative experiences in recent years, but she has remained steady in her faith and has kept a positive attitude. I think many others would have given up hope in her situation, but she has remained strong.

Wow, what a wonderful giveaway!
I find inspiration almost everything around me: in a smile from a stranger on the street, in nature, in a rainy day or a sunny one, in my home, my wonderful husband and stepson, in my books, musics, people around me or in blogs like Denise’s or Stacy’s.

Hands down….my inspiration comes from my son. It took my husband and I some time (TTC) and once he was here, he became the reason we do everything. I want to set such a good example for him, and he makes it easy. I think any parent can understand that feeling when you look in your child’s eyes. You want to be their hero, and their rock. In turn, it makes you a better person.

My inspiration comes from my work. I work in the New Born Nursery, the nightshift. I am a Lactation Consultant and I help all New Mothers with their first fdings. I am so blessed. Yearly I assist over 1,000 mothers and their babies. I meet many mothers all nationalities and from all walks of life I hope and I pray that I grace their lives as much as they grace mine. Stacey’s Hope necklace reinforces my legacy.

I am thankful to have many sources of inspiration in my life. My main source is God. I look around at all that He has created and the blessings He has poured into my life, and I stand in awe. My family and friends are another source of inspiration. My children teach me to enjoy the little things in life and to never take anything or anyone for granted.

I find my inspiration from my mom. She is dying from Ovarian Cancer and she has been a rock star the whole way! Smiling while doing her cemo and radation and laughing while getting blood drawn. She has never said “why me?” Or have thought about giving up. Just seeing her play w/my two kid’s like nothing is wrong and covering up the fact that she is hurting or sick to make my babies happy and to give them awesome memories. NO matter how bad of a day I am having I think about her and her struggles and mine seem so tiny. My mother is my inspiration hands down!!!

Wow! I get inspiration from so many things in my life. The two closest to my heart are, first, my children that bring love, laughter, and meaning to my life each and every day, and second, as a ballet dancer I am able to release any and every feeling I have inside me through my dancing to enrich both my life and those who I’m able to perform for! Awesome giveaway!!!

Each day in my work i am amongst parents and their sick babies.
The courage that these parents exhibit and the even greater courage that their brave little ones present, for each and every breathe that they take provides me with more inspiration than any other single thing that i have witnessed throughout my entire life.
my worklife can be very stressful. the volume and haste of the workload, the very essence of what is required of me at times really gets me down. THEN. i sit and talk to a mum. i place my hand on the forehead and hand of a crying baby. their resilience is astounding. the mother talks softly. is full of praise. the baby settles.
What more can i say….

I am constantly inspired by my 14 month old nephew. He is so sweet and funny, and he learns so quickly! I try to be more like him because I can be sort of cynical.
My favorite item by Bella Wish is the ‘Look to the Sea’ necklace. I live in Charleston, SC, and I love standing on the beach and seeing nothing but water to the horizon.
My favorite picture by Boho Girl is ‘Tiny Daisies.’ Dasies are my favorite, and I love how she captured them! Amazing!

I find inspiration in my daily life, from watching my children play and discover the world around them. To the peacefulness that I get when working on one of my creative pursuits, and the sense of pride I get upon completing each and every one.
The two artist shown here, I can feel the love and dedication to their art with each of their works. To me, having them share their passion with us is a honor. My favorite for Boho Girl is “Whispers of spring” it reminds me of days when I was younger sitting on the hills that over looked my favorite lake. My favorite for Bella Wish is “Magic” hand stamped necklace, I feel there is Magic all around us you just need to open your eyes to see it.

I love the Hope necklace; it is a great reminder to everyone, to never give up. I work as a rehab nurse and deal with this every day…my patients literally fight to get their lives back on track and it is incredible to witness. Without hope and encouragment from those around them, they would not find the strength to fight their battles…

I find inspiration in both my sons, but especially my first born. He entered this world with head trauma from forceps that earned him a stay in NICU for a week. He is tough…rarely cried. Not related, but he stopped growing and by 3.5 and several tests, one lasting 4 hours, we found out he has a growth hormone deficiency with unknown causes. He now has a shot every day before bedtime. He took this in stride and was far more brave than I was or am. I’ve learned so much about facing adversity from him and look forward to the many more lessons he has to teach.

In my life, I get inspiration from so many people but my biggest inspiration are my parents, whose story is that of young immigrants coming to a new country and working their butts off to give their children the best of everything. I hope to be half as fabulous as they are!
