For this weeks giveaway I am SO excited to feature one of my favorite etsy shops, whichgoose. I first discovered whichgoose a little over a year ago when I was preparing for my trip to Forks. My friends and I were sharing a cabin and had planned kindof a ya-ya-esque night where we each had our own TwilightMOM headdress… Yes. you read that correctly. Well, I was looking for inspiration on the internet and I discovered the most magical gem of a shop I had ever seen. I was completely enamored, and I remain so to this day.
I asked Emily, the creator of whichgoose to tell us a little about herself and the item she is giving away today:
My name’s Emily Zych and I’m a dreamer at heart. I love all things whimsical and fantasy-driven… which I why I love to create magical hair pieces! I love that someone can wear something I’ve made and feel transformed. I’ve been selling on Etsy for almost 2 years now and it has really been so much fun. I feel very lucky to be able to create things that people will actually wear! (It’s still shocking to me sometimes!)
I made this Twilight-inspired piece with the obvious “apple” theme… but tucked in a few little extras.
The leaves are meant to be kind of shady… representative of a thickly forested Forks, Wa. Also, the sparkly vintage bead is a bit like Edward when he walks into the sunlight. Also, there is a plain red bauble, because where there are vampires, there is blood. I’ve also added some little roses to this one as a nod to Bella’s birthday cake
There’s probably a lot more than you can read into with it, but I’ll leave that up to your imagination!

The austen whimsical rose comb took my breath away! As a writer of Regency novels, I think the essence of the era, and the whimsy of the period have been captured in the comb. Thank you for such a beautiful piece!

Oh my.. the moth – butterfly hair comb with the 6 purple butterflies is so very awesome. I think the secret garden hair comb is my second pick… and then… ok, fine, I’ll stop. Very cool items!

Anyone who uses the word whimsical gets my vote! I love the rachel comb, but it was hard to choose. Everything is named so well.

I kept scrolling back through the pages a hundred times trying desperately to choose a favorite- impossible! I did keep finding myself drawn back to the white oleander-vine crown and the heidi-whimsical tiara (love the turquoise bow!) I finally have LONG hair and I need to have more fun with it!

Well, so many pretty things! I loved the vintage Believe Your Eyes black shoes — they are so ME! And my other favorite was the Tea Party Whimsical comb -that is reserved for someone else.

If I were a flower fairy in a Cecile Barker book the Amethist-Purple wire crown is exactly what I would have in my hair. It’s sweet. The only other way I can describe it is delicious. I can see my wings sprouting already.

My heart (and jaw) dropped when I saw bleu – whimsical peacock comb. I have always been fascinated by the natural beauty of peacock feathers and combined with the beige, it is classy, elegant and fantastic!

They are all soooo beautiful! I narrowed it down to my top 3 favorites: Camelot – I love, love, love the pine cone! ; Sadie – simple & elegant; and Starry Night – this one is right from the pages of Melissa Marr’s Wicked Lovely series … breathtaking!
I have a cousin to shop for this Christmas who has everything … I’ll definitely be odering from whichgoose for her … this is totally her style!

I am going through a bit of a steampunk phase, so the “Haunted Floral Feather Comb” caught my eye. I love the romantic, Victorian look and it would be PHENOMENAL with my Halloween costume!
