National Post Q&A with Mike Welch

Canada’s National Post interviewed Mike Welch about auditioning for the role of Edward, working with a young cast, and the status of Breaking Dawn.
Q: Did you only audition for the part of Mike, or was there another role you had your eye on?
A: Ya, I actually auditioned for Edward initially. I did my best, but it didn’t go particularly well. [Laughing] Luckily I did well enough to come back in for Eric Yorkie, and then eventually found the right fit with Mike, so Mike was the third one down the list but that seemed to be the right fit for me.
