Me and my DD just saw New Moon!!! It was soooo good!!!!! Robert is beautiful of course, but, I thought the whole cast was incredible. It had comedy, sadness, suspense and just a wonderful story. I thought Chris did a great job of bringing story lines together that might have been hard to show from the book. I also felt like for the viewer who has not read New Moon yet, this movie tells the story but, will also prompt them to want to read it. It was so awesome! I will be heading back to the theatre again!!!

I was disappointed in the music, especially as they didn't use even a hint of the original Twilight score which would have helped to tie the two movies together (EG Harry Potter films have same/similar score). I really didn't like Alice's clothes (wasn't too fussed about her acting either). And when Bella hit Paul, why didn't she injure herself as she did when she hit Jacob in Eclipse? Bit of a big oversight there I think. However these are my only gripes, otherwise I loved the film & can't wait to see it many more times in the future.

Hey Everybody,
I have to say, overall the movie was great, but I didn't like Alice's wardrobe, and I didn't think the music fit the movie. The movie also felt very rushed. It was over as soon as it began:( It did stay true to the book for the most part and Kristen was AMAZING! I just wish it had lasted longer. I would recommend seeing it. And I will buy it, but I guess books will always be better than the movies.

I too am in Perth, Australia and went to the midnight screening last night and Wow! loved every minute of it... its like they took all the best parts of the book and threw it in the movie. I was worried about the breakup scene (which in my opinion was spot on!) and didn't cry but one woman couldn't hold back and was sobbing and making the rest of us sad LOL but held it together.

There is the one scene I keep thinking about and that was when Jacob and Bella are on the beach and I swore in the background something like a whale jumped out of the water? but could of been a wave? Can't wait to see it again!!!

New Moon has already been released down here in Australia & I was lucky enough to go to a midnight screening. The movie was true to the book with a few added extras which I thought made the movie better. The reviewers are giving it a mediocre rap here but this is not a perfectly madeor acted film, it's a film for the Twilight fans & that is what Chris Weitz has delivered. If you want to criticise then stop blocking the queue. I loved every second & am already booked to see it again this weekend.
