No Surprise: Adults Love Twilight!

New York Daily News has an article about Twilight being a guilty pleasure for many adults in the New York area and beyond.
New York adults aren’t the target audience for author Stephenie Meyer’s teen vampire book series, or the films it has spawned. People with high school diplomas, not to mention careers, aren’t supposed to obsess over whether human protagonist Bella Swan will end up with moody vampire Edward Cullen or buff shape shifter Jacob Black.
But the mature audience has been bitten. Step onto any subway in the city and you’ll see people well over 17 rapt by the romances. The second movie in the “Twilight” franchise, “New Moon,” hits cinemas with midnight screenings Thursday, and the line won’t be only kids.
