I really don’t care what the professional critics have to say about this movie, or any other movie, to be honest. I’ll wait, see “New Moon” myself, and then decide if it has lived up to our expectations (or surpassed them ;~D!). I’ve never given any credence to the critics’ opinions – and certainly don’t plan to start letting them make up my mind for me now!

I usually read the NYTimes movie review before seeing a film because as a working mom, I just have to be picky with my time. So, typically, a film has to be something that i WANT to see and a film of critical review.
Of course that won’t be the case for seeing New Moon. I’m so in love with the saga, like the other fans, that I’m propelled to see it regardless of its quality. I’m sure I will love it despite any flaws. I just hoped that the film would meet the fans expectations and receive above average recognition. So, far with what I’ve read, that’s not the case.

Just read some of the first reviews, and they’re not good. Thoughts anyone? Is there a place to discuss?
