Robert Pattinson Vanity Fair December Cover

Posted on 02. Nov, 2009 by in News

Rob will be featured on the December cover of Vanity Fair, and they’ve released excerpts from the interview and photo outtakes in advance!

Rather than working his way through supermodels, Pattinson, who’s been living out of three suitcases for the past year, has been feeling overwhelmed, self-conscious, and guilty. “I’m trying not to drown,” he says in his hotel room at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel, which is littered today with beer bottles, old scrambled eggs, a half-eaten Twix bar, and a dirty pair of jeans on the living-room floor. And he notices that he hasn’t made his bed. “Oh, God. Sorry about that.”

And a bit more…

Despite the fact that he is an exquisite beauty—with perfectly formed red, red lips and a face that might have been dreamed by the Romantic poets—he thinks he resembles “a cartoon character.” One of his legs is longer than the other, which makes him look, he assures you, “like an idiot.”

He’s sure he’s driving people crazy by constantly talking about how he can’t leave his hotel room. And he sees his inability to relish his fans’ reverence as his own shortcoming. “I guess I’m not the type of guy cut out to do a franchise,” he says. “I’m not much of a crowd person.”

You can read more here. You can also check out the outtakes, like this one, here.

Then, to read the full article and see exclusive photographs of Rob, you can pick up a copy of the December 2009 issue on newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on November 4 and nationally on November 10.

After viewing the hotness that was the outtake photos from this shoot, I have to say I’m kinda disappointed they chose this shot for the cover. There were so many better ones to choose from!

That being said, he is still the most gorgeous man on earth! ^_^ I can’t wait for the full article to come out next week!

This article made me sad a bit. I have the feeling that Rob have a real trouble dealing with his sudden celebrety. I just hope that fan and papparazzi will one day understand all the pressure the put on our favorite public figures.

And for Robert, keep saying what your thinking maybe you will be able to change things around and please, like Edward say to Bella, don’t do anything stupid or reckless. We do love you.

Oh, no smiles. When I first saw some outtakes on another site I was blown away. But this made me sad. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll buy the mag, and I’ll admire the pics, and read every word. But I really wish somehow he could enjoy it. After all the positives he has brought so many of us.

All these interviewers want to know what questions we would ask. My question is, what can we do to make it better other than disappear? What a trooper.
