Twilight Inspired Ballroom Dance

Posted on 24. Nov, 2009 by in News

One of the really cool things that took place at the New Moon Experience in Utah were several Twilight Inspired performances by Ballroom Utah. I never would have thought of Twilight and Ballroom dancing together so when I saw them on the schedule I was intrigued.  Once I saw them perform I was blown away!  Here are two clips- one to Super Massive Black Hole and the other to Phascination Phase.  (Sorry the video is not so great- I’m not the world’s best videographer)

Bawaaahahahahah. I tried to get a ballroom piece to Super Massive into our Stake show. We like to have our teens do ballroom and I thought this would be a great motivation for them. The idea didn’t make it in the show, but I’m glad to see it wasn’t a crazy idea! :D

I don’t think these videos show just how incredible the dancing was. They had several other numbers, as well. The “Bella” ballet piece was stunning!!

I know the videos don’t do them justice. They had someone there taking video so hopefully they will post those on their site and I can link to them.

Klemz- I think that these two are all I have. I’ll check my computer when I get home and see if I have any others.

Very good. I loved the “Bella” piece. I’d love to see more twilight music incorporated into ballroom dance.
