A look at how the New Moon Wolves were created

The CG Society has a fascinating look at the development of the wolves in New Moon-

The challenge wasn’t just to build a believable wolf, but to build five unique wolves of extraordinary size and weight, to portray that mass often with little more than the surrounding trees as comparisons, create believable fur and humanesque eyes that weren’t distracting.

    Very cool! I am always so impressed with how far special effects have come over time. They did such a great job – you can really see the humanistic qualities in the Jacob-wolf. I hope they are the same special effects people for Eclipse.
