LA Times:’New Moon’ quiz: How well do you know your vamps?
Posted on 23. Dec, 2009 by AmyO in News

The LA Times wants to know how well you know your New Moon vampires (and werewolves & humans) in their mostly movie based quiz. The questions aren’t too tricky if you’ve read the book and seen the movie. (although I have to admit I did get the football question wrong- oops!) Take the quiz here.

Wow, that football one was hard… I also had his age off by a year. I guess I just need to read those books again

The only one I missed was the football question. However, Edward in the book never says his exact age. Date of publication would make him 105. As New Moon was published in 2006. Which is consistent with the first novel published in 2005. His birthday being in June he would have been 104 at the start of the series. I think they changed it to reflect when the movie will be released on DVD and Blu-ray.

I knew the football one because I happened to be in Tucson, AZ when I first watched it and wondered why everyone was whooping and whistling while Charlie watched the game until I realized U of A was playing.

I got the football one right as well! The one I got wrong was about Jacob taking his shirt off at the movies. Did that even happen? I guess I need to watch the movie again!

What about who Bella was writing too. I don’t remember her writing to Renee or anyone for that matter. I thought it was just mental dialouge. Maybe I need to re-read the book for the 7th time. Then my family will officially have me commited…

Well I missed the football question and how tall Jacob is as a wolf. Not too bad though.

Missed two- the football one and the quote (I knew it was either Hamlet or R & J!)

Woo Hoo!! I got them all right! (happy dance) I almost always get something wrong!
And the question about Bella writing to someone one .. in the book, Bella says that she had been responding to Renee’s emails, but that once she ‘woke up’, she realized that they were very sterile & read like a journal entry, rather than a communication with her mother.
