Prayer request for a TwilightMOM in Haiti

I’ve been watching the devastation in Haiti and have been thankful that no one I know is there. That changed today when we learned that one of our New York TwilightMOMS and her 2 year old daughter are there. I don’t know Suky personally but she is a TwilightMOM and that makes her my friend. Once again we are reaching out to our amazing TwilightMOM community for help. This is the e-mail we received from one of the Moms in New York.
She is from Haiti, although moved here (to Queens NY) when she was younger. She has been there since Christmas visiting family and friends. She was scheduled to come home Thursday, two days after the earthquake. Now she is stuck there with her 2 yrs old in the destruction. We’ve heard from her twice via e-mail. Short messages saying she’s ok but scared. They have some food/water/sparse electric. They can hear the people who are trapped around them but can’t get to them because they are buried under concrete. No aid is there for them. Many friends and dead/missing. They are sleeping outside and she can’t stop crying. I don’t think there IS an inside anymore. I’m not sure where she is in relation to Port Au Prince. She is part of our NY/NJ TwiMom group.
We don’t know a lot more than this. We are doing all we can to find out more details and see if there is any way to help to get them home. We will keep you all updated as we learn more. At this point all we can do is ask that you pray for this TwilightMOM and her daughter.
