February’s Charity Spotlight of the Month: Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep

Posted on 10. Feb, 2010 by in News

This month’s Charity of the Month spotlight was brought to my attention when one of our local TwilightMOMS had need of their services. Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep is a network of professional photographers who volunteer their time to photograph babies who are stillborn or are at risk of dying as newborns, helping their families to heal during a difficult time and providing a priceless heirloom to cherish forever. I am blown away at the gift that these  volunteer photographers give to families in this time of sadness and heartbreak. Please stop by this thread to learn about this organization and to read about Heidi’s experience with them.

OMG! I am so happy to see this is your chairity of the month! NILMDTS is a organzation close to my heart, I am the mother of 2 angels & have made many Angel parent friends over the years. This has helped so many parents & grandparents thru trying times after a child has been lost! I wish they would have been around when I had my daughters, for all I have are polaroids! This is so amazing & I am so happy to see that TwiMoms are taking a stand to help out! I would like to say a personal thank you to each & everyone of you that donate!

Oh…this is a wonderful organization! I have given to them in the past, and try to whenever possible. I found out about them after a friend lost her little angel due to stillbirth. She has the most wonderful pictures that were taken by a NILMDTS photographer. I am a part time photographer, and know that I couldn’t do this, but admire all the photographers that volunteer their time. I am so happy that this is TwiMoms charity of the month!
