Twilight Van Scene included in Fandango’s ‘The Top 10 Romantic Movie Gestures!’

Posted on 12. Feb, 2010 by in News

Fandango has ranked the top 10 romantic gesture in movies and the scene in Twilight where Edward saves Bella from the van has made their list.

In case you’re looking for something movie-related to do on the big weekend, there’s an inexpensive snuggling to be had with Valentine’s Day, chock full of enough genetically gifted stars to bring in the girls and not have the guys they’re dragging along mind so much. Here, too, for all the loveaholics, are the top 10 results of our survey to determine the very best (and recent) romantic movie gestures…

See the whole list here.

What do you think? Do you think that’s the most romantic gesture in Twilight? Should they have chosen a different scene? Do you think that Twilight should have been higher on the list?

(I’m totally dating myself here but the scene with Lloyd Dobler in Say Anything… *swoon*)

Good Will Hunting. The ending when he has “to go see about a girl”.

Lloyd Dobler is the best movie boyfriend ever; sorry Edward.
My favorite romantic gesture in a movie is the scene in Before Sunset in the bookstore in Paris. Jesse writes a book several years later in America about the lost love of his life (shown in the movie Before Sunrise) and orchestrates a book signing in France in hopes that she comes. Such a good movie.

I love this scene but I don’t think of it as the most romantic in the movie…for me, that would be either where he kisses her the first time or anything at the prom :)
