Michael Welch visits military kids in Germany on USO tour

Mike went on his first USO tour on July 9, visiting 10 youth and teen centers in Germany over 6 days, where he saw more than 600 military kids. As part of his USO experience, Mike posed for photos, signed autographs, answered questions and participated in workshop activities and skits. You can see more photos from his tour on USO.org.

Out of this whole strange new world Twilight has brought us, Michael Welch is one of my favorites! I had the chance to see him speak at the Twilight Convention in Arlington, VA. Some people are just so genuine to the core that they exude a great spirit. Michael is one of those guys. Very down to earth and grounded with the perspective of what really matters in life. My husband is in the Navy, our kids have endured deployments. One of the first things he said to the DC crowd was how much he respects military families. Here’s a guy who means what he says. LOVE HIM!!
