Eclipse Hits $300 Million & New Moon Makes Guinness World Records

Box Office Mojo confirmed yesterday that Eclipse has reached the $300 million mark in domestic sales. According to Gossip Cop, Eclipse became the fourth release to cross the $300 million threshold in 2010, joining Toy Story 3, Alice in Wonderland and Iron Man 2. The film has reached nearly $700 million worldwide.
Great news for New Moon, too – According to Gossip Cop:
Guinness also awarded The Twilight Saga: New Moon the title of Highest Opening-Day Gross. It earned $72.7 million on its first day, beating previous record holder The Dark Knight.

Just think, all the little people who spent their hard earned money are behind this wonderful Saga! I have been to the theater so many times this past couple years and I have been to all the Twilight Movies. Of course its the only film(s) I have seen..Nothing has touched my life like this franchise.I do read a lot, but I reread my Twilight Saga books probably more than I should…Good thing I’m retired!All I need right now is the Twilight Eclipse DVD to add to my colection. Thanks Stephanie for your vampire stories.
