No Plans for Breaking Dawn to be Filmed in 3-D

Gossip Cop provides this update on recent rumors that the second part of Breaking Dawn will be filmed in 3-D:
A rep for Summit tells Gossip Cop, “Neither film is being shot in 3D,” and calls the rumors “fabricated.”
And a source informs Gossip Cop that while 3D effects can be added during post-production (as they have with some recent releases), right now it is too premature to say whether either part of Breaking Dawn will be converted.

Thank God. I don’t think I would go see it if it was 3D.

Me either. The thought of it ruining my beloved franchise for a few extra bucks sickens me.

I’m with ya on this one! I would be so sick to my stomach and think it’d just make the whole book series so “cheesy”.
This needs to be a serious movie and not made into some crazy franchise. I even think the Burger King twilight meal was so silly.
This is a romance and hope it stays so.

Oh thank God!!! I would have been so upset if they decided to do BD in 3-D. Not all films are good with 3D and I would be sick as others have said if they did anything with Breaking Dawn 3D.
