Huge Casting Announcement: Meet the Breaking Dawn Vampires

Summit just announced a bunch of Breaking Dawn cast members. (Hyperlinks for the actors names lead to their imdb pages)
Summit Entertainment announced today the following have been cast in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN for roles in The Amazon Coven, The Egyptian Coven, The Irish Coven and The Romanian Coven as well as the American and European Nomads as outlined below.
THE AMAZON COVEN
Senna - Tracey Heggins
Zafrina – Judi Shekoni
Among the oldest vampires in the world, Senna and Zafrina are descendants of an ancient Amazonian tribe. They have lived outside of civilization for centuries and therefore make no attempt to keep up a human facade. Though they drink human blood, the Amazons have long been allies of Carlisle.
THE EGYPTIAN COVEN
Amun - Omar Metwally
Kebi - Andrea Gabriel
Benjamin - Rami Malek
Tia- Angela Sarafyan
The Egyptian Coven consists of Amun, Kebi, Benjamin, and Tia, with Amun as the leader. It is stated that even though they are not a biological family, they could pass for one. Amun is extremely protective of his family and fearful of Aro.
THE IRISH COVEN
Maggie - Marlane Barnes
Siobhan – Lisa Howard
Liam - Patrick Brennan
The Irish Coven, a relatively young group, was founded by Siobhan and Liam, but Maggie’s talent made her an important element of it. They are not vegetarian but they are civilized
THE ROMANIAN COVEN
Vladimir - Noel Fisher
Stefan – Guri Weinberg
The Romanian Coven is one of the oldest covens in the world and they were the ruling vampire family until they were unseated by the Volturi. For that reason they harbor a centuries old resentment of the Italian coven.
THE AMERICAN NOMADS
Garrett - Lee Pace
Mary - Toni Trucks
Randall - Bill Tangradi
Peter - Erik Odom
Charlotte - Valorie Curry
Turned during the Revolutionary War, Garrett has chosen to live a nomadic existence, wandering the world on his own. Garrett has never lost the rebellious spirit of his human life, and loves a good fight, always rooting for the underdog. Though not a vegetarian, Garrett is among Carlisle’s closest and oldest friends.
Mary and Randall are American nomadic vampires.
Peter and Charlotte are nomadic vampires and mates. They were created during the aftermath of the Southern Vampire Wars, in which Jasper was a key player. They have remained friends with Jasper ever since.
THE EUROPEAN NOMADS
Alistair - Joe Anderson
A nomadic vampire from England, Alistair has a misanthropic, brooding personality and a deep mistrust of all authority. Although he counts Carlisle as his closest acquaintance, he doesn’t visit more than once a century.

Well I pictured alot of these characters being older…they all look so young, but we’ll have to wait and see how they all look when the movie comes out.

I also had some of the characters pictured as older. But, it makes sense that they could have been young when changed. Carlisle doesn’t look old but takes on the fatherly roll and is the oldest of the Cullens at about 300. I think it will have to do with how mature they play their characters.

There are only two actors here that I know, and not many of them are like what I pictured, but I’ll just have to wait and see. I definitely need to read Breaking Dawn again and see how they are described in the book.

I agree with a previous post of picturing some of them to be older, but overall I’m impressed. The one that most matches what I pictured is Zafrina. Wow that is almost dead on.

Many look older than I pictured as well, especially Alistair. Also, I pictured all of these photos with red eyes, and many of them just “pop!” Scary!

All I can say is WOW, they are all so very beautiful/handsom and will be great in Breaking Dawn. Whoever did this casting must have read the books and these actors appear to be perfect….I am so glad they didn’t pick someone who is already a big star so they can bring their charactors to life. I did picture Alistair older but I like the choice.

I didn’t really picture them in any certain way, I am so excited that they are casting these parts and things are getting under way. It is going to be so nice to see Breaking Dawn come to the silver screen, but also in the same breath that means it is one step closer to this exciting ride to end. I don’t know about you all, but Twilight has changed my life. Does that sound crazy???

If you haven’t watched Across The Universe, do it now. He is amazing as the American Ivy League burnout party boy that gets traumatized in Vietnam.
I’m not familiar with many of the others, but you should check out Noel Fisher in a Bones episode called Hero In The Hold. He plays a ghost of a green beret sniper from Agent Booth’s past. One of my favorite episodes.
Also, check out Pushing Daisies to see our new Garrett in action. This seems like great casting to me.

I think they are all beautiful looking vampires. So far I am amazed at the people cast for these roles. Breaking Dawn was my favorite book. It makes me want to read it again to put the faces in my head as I am reading.

Actually I thought that Vladimir and Stefan looks much older..
Zafrina looks just exactly as I imagined her.

Lisa Howard looks too sweet and a little too old to play Siobhan but with red contacts and white body paint, I think she could pull it off
They all look perfect for their parts! I can’t believe it!

Seriously…. they couldn’t pick Irish actors to play the Irish coven… do we have to listen to bad Irish acents again on the big screen.
