Nikki Reed Talks About Rescue Dog Sydney

PEOPLEPets.com caught up with Nikki last Friday at Teen Vogue‘s 8th Annual Young Hollywood Party about raising her dog Sydney, a 2-and-1/2-year-old pit bull she rescued from a shelter.
“She’s a pit bull, and I’m all about tough dogs… But she definitely has a screw loose!”
“I hate to say this, but she doesn’t like kids,” the actress admits, adding, “and she doesn’t like strollers … and she hates other animals.”
One thing the lucky pup does like: her new owner, who happily accepts her quirks and her fickle temperament.
“It’s not really a flaw,” Reed said with an understanding smile. “That’s just her way. I love her, and she’s my best friend!”

I wish she wouldn’t put that dated choke collar on her dog.
