I’m a little concerned about her age – like they are making Reneesme older than the books, which is probably due to SAG rules for child actors but I’m really, REALLY tired of the movies changing the books so much – especially when they have the TIME and MONEY to do it right from the start of the film…

They were originally looking to cast 6yo girls (ideally twins) but apparently weren’t able to find any that could pull off the dramatic scenes so they had to find an older girl to play younger. I know this because my 9yo daughter auditioned in Vancouver. They looked all over Canada and also in the South near Louisiana. This was a role all of us wanted our daughters to book!

She looks just like Kristin Stewart! Scroll down a little from her picture and the next post is on Kristin and they have the same color eyes and hair and something about their face is similar. I’m so excited with this choice! I thought I read somewhere that they were going to do something like the movie Benjamin Buton (or however you spell it
) I haven’t seen that movie but I did hear that they messed with his age a lot.

I really like the choice. I think that this ‘verison’ of her will probably be what we see most from about half way through the second movie and up to the battle. There are tons of things they can do to make her younger, CGI included to make her seem very young and then to age her quickly. It should be AWESOME.
