Moviefone has put together their annual list of the 25 hottest stars under the age of 25, which just happens to include Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. Here’s what they had to say about each:
What He’s Done: Nothing really, unless you ask his rabid, undying worldwide audience of fans who would walk across hot coals to see him play vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ saga. Before that, he was known as Cedric Diggory from the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise. He has also tried his hand at more artsy endeavors, playing Salvador Dali in 2008′s ‘Little Ashes’ and a melancholic lover in 2010′s ‘Remember Me.’
What’s Next: Of course, the final ‘Twilight’ movies (‘Breaking Dawn,’ which has been divided into two films) are slated for release in 2011 and 2012. In 2011, he’s also set to play a womanizing Parisian in ‘Bel Ami,’ and a veterinary student who runs away with the circus in ‘Water for Elephants.’
What She’s Done: Made a splash at age 12 alongside Jodie Foster in ‘Panic Room,’ became the envy of many a teenage (and adult) girl by playing Bella in ‘The Twilight Saga,’ which means she gets PAID to kiss Robert Pattinson. Also played Joan Jett in the rock biopic ‘The Runaways.’
What’s Next: She’s starring in the indie drama ‘Welcome to the Rileys’ as a troubled stripper (is there any other kind?), as well as the long-awaited adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s ‘On the Road.’ Oh, and she’s got two little movies called ‘Breaking Dawn’ coming out.
What He’s Done: He plays the ab-tastic werewolf Jacob Black in ‘The Twilight Saga’; beyond that, Lautner has had roles in ‘The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D,’ as Sharkboy, and ‘Valentine’s Day,’ opposite then-girlfriend Taylor Swift.
What’s Next: ‘Twilight’ fans will get a double dose of Lautner in ‘Breaking Dawn’ parts 1 and 2, the first of which hits theaters on Nov. 18, 2011. He’ll also star in John Singleton’s new thriller, ‘Abduction,’ about a young man whose life is thrown into disarray when he finds his baby photo on a missing persons website.
