TwilightMOMS at the Ashley Greene Eclipse DVD Signing in NYC

The ever fabulous Kara (illumin8) was able to attend the Eclipse DVD signing at Best Buy last night where Ashley Greene signed autographs. Here’s her report of the evening.

Summit was nice enough to invite TwilightMOMs at Ashley Greene’s ”red carpet” event at Best Buy in NYC this evening.

I arrived early to stake my claim on the carpet- hopefully someplace warm! Luckily the entire event happened inside the store so I piled on the long johns for no reason! There was some time to pass before Ashley’s arrival so I took some pics of the crowd waiting for her online- most people had been there for an hour when I arrived at 6! The line wrapped around the top level of the store.

I knew when these gentlemen arrived Ashley couldn’t be far behind! She had the nicest security detail!

One of these gentlemen guarded Rob when he was doing appearances for “Remember Me” He asked me- “That guy on the right (in the Eclipse poster) he’s not coming is he?” I said-”Rob- no I don’t think so why?” His response was “I had to watch him when he filmed here last year- the girls are crazy for him- I’ve never seen so many girls so crazy!”

One of my favorite moments was getting to stand where Ashley would be for the photo ops- I got to see the world from her point of view- and all the cameras that are staring her down!

Ashley looked stunning in black and white and posed for pictures for photographers first- 

Then I was brought up to ask her a few questions. Please note some of this is paraphrased- I didn’t get to record the interview.

First she was excited that I was from TwilightMOMS- She said “Oh, I’m so glad you guys are here!”

Then the questions:

Me: “There have been many rumors about Alice’s visions- can you tell me what they are really about?”

Ashley: “No! But I can tell you that there are so many visions and so many ways to interpret them- Bill Condon and I sat down to go over many of the options- I’ve had a lot of input on them- but I can’t tell you the details yet….”

Me: “Warrior’s Heart- it was filmed quite a while ago- do you know if it will be released soon?’

Ashley: “I know!  They haven’t told me when it will come out- but it’s been a while- we filmed it right after Twilight- hopefully it will be here soon”

Me: “As Alice- have you had fun planning the wedding?”

Ashley: “Yes! What we have worked on so far looks amazing- I’ve seen drawings of the dress and it’s beautiful- it’s really lovely- don’t worry! It’s going to be a great scene when it’s all done”

I had about two dozen other questions- but my time was up- but before I left I asked Ashley to record a shout out to TwilightMOMs.
