Peter Facinelli Visits NJ Mall for Charity

Posted on 06. Mar, 2011 by in News

The Quaker Bridge Mall was host to Peter Facinelli yesterday in support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand and the Community Blood Council-NJ. Hundreds of fans turned out to meet Peter, get autographs and take photos with him. Peter spoke to the Trenton Times about his charity appearances:

“I’m trying to use my fan base to (support) some good causes,” said Facinelli. He said he enjoys participating in mall appearances both to give back to his fans and to help with causes he is passionate about.

“We’ve sucked a lot of blood out of a lot of people,” he said about his appearances, which he said have raised more than $100,000. “That feels great, and that’s part of the reason why I do it.”

“There’s an irony in a vampire asking for your blood,” he said. “I always think it’s a good fit.”

Peter is quite gracious to his fans and gives so much of his time in support of many charities. Peter is the epitome of Carlisle Cullen in our world :)

I was there too & had the great pleasure & honor of meeting one of the sweetest & most sincere actors ever! I drug my sons along with me after their karate classes & the way Peter posed with them was the greatest!! I wish I could post it on here for you to see, but if you’re interested in seeing it just e-mail me & I’ll send it to you. It was a great experience for us & it was all because of him!!
