The Swan House in Vancouver Being Deconstructed

Posted on 23. Mar, 2011 by in News

Hollywood North on Location reports that Breaking Dawn filming at the Swan House in Vancouver is finished and they’ve started tearing down the house.

The white frame movie set house was located on 28th ave between 188th Ave and 184th Ave. It sat on Kerry Park for about six weeks. They used the location house for one day and two scenes.

… Today the deconstruction began and it will never be built again. It took three weeks to build and a few days to take down.

Check out more pics and potential scenes that were filmed at the house at Hollywood North on Location. I’m choosing to ignore how sad I am about this.

It’s all really bittersweet. I get excited because, you know, the movie is coming and as a fan, that’s a big deal. But in the same minute I’m counting down the seconds till it’s all over…as in, over-over-done-done. I love the series, and I’m not really sure I’m ready to say good bye just yet.

I don’t think any of us are ready to say goodbye yet… that’s what fanfic is for though ;)

If the crazy Beiber fans paid $40,000 for a lock of his hair, think about what TwiHards might pay for a piece of Bella’s house?!?!? Just saying……

I would pay to just have my picture taken on the steps. It propably is a good idea to tear it down as who would pay for the upkeep on a house thats not really all there? I would be sad to see it ruined or taken apart by fans
