Filmmaker’s Official Statement on Breaking Dawn Leak
Posted on 01. Apr, 2011 by dazzledforever in News
We just received this official statement from Summit regarding the Breaking Dawn pictures that have been leaked online over the last 24 hours.
Dear Twilight Saga fans,
As some of you may know, pictures and screen grabs of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn as a work in progress have leaked on the internet. We are extremely proud of this film and also extremely heartbroken to see it out there at this stage.
The film and these images are not yet ready or in their proper context. They were illegally obtained and their early dissemination is deeply upsetting to the actors, the filmmakers and Summit who are working so hard to bring these movies to fruition to you in November 2011 and November 2012.
Please, for those who are posting, stop. And please, though the temptation is high, don’t view or pass on these images. Wait for the film in its beautiful, finished entirety to thrill you.
Sincerely,
Stephenie Meyer, Bill Condon, Wyck Godfrey and Summit Entertainment

Thank you, TwilightMoms, for letting this be your only acknowledgment of the leaked photos. One thing that drew me to this site was the integrity displayed in its coverage of all things Twilight. I, for one, will wait patiently (ok, maybe a little impatiently!) for BD on opening night!

Ditto ! I hate when someone tries to break the rules on some thing so important to us who love all things Twilight. I too shall wait for all the movie to be presented to us in all its glory. OK, i’m inmpatient too! The wait will be worth it…….

They were various pictures from the honeymoon, Renesmee’s birth, and probably some other scenes.

I too am not going to see look for the pics however looking at comments from those that had seen them, it does truly make me wonder how this is going to stay PG-13. I am a HUGE twilight fan, and I am really looking forward to these movies but I don’t want to be embarrassed watching it surrounded by 13 yr old screaming girls who shouldn’t be watching what these people are saying are in these photo’s. I have gone to a few other “PG-13″ movies with my 14 year old and had to leave. I don’t want my Twilight to do that to us, be true to your book and nature and make it rated R if that is what needs to happen.
