Peter Facinelli is now working with the National Park Foundation and Energizer to raise awareness for the preservation of America’s national parks.

National Park Week

From April 16 through April 24, the country celebrates National Park Week. Not only can everyone receive free admission to all national parks this week, but people can also text BUNNY to 27722 to trigger a $1 donation from Energizer to the National Park Foundation, up to $50,000. Energizer’s goal is to donate $400,000 to the National Park Foundation this spring, and the public can help them get there.

Peter Facinelli is taking to the great outdoors with his family on Tuesday, April 19 at the Grand Canyon, one of America’s most popular national parks, to get his own RV outfitted with solar panels and other earth-friendly gadgets.

    It’s really cool that he’s supporting the national parks. Makes me wish I knew how to text. Ha! That’s right, I said it. I’m not a fan of cell phones. However, I do pay the extra $5 on my vehicle tabs for parks. Anyway, WTG Peter! You’ve chosen an excellent cause to support!
