Nooooooo! What is wrong with the casting director(s)??? JCB may be a good actor, but HE IS NOT JACE material! It is a sad, sad, sad day for Mortal Instruments fans!!!

Don’t understand this selection!!! this guy is the total opposite of what Jace represents. There is no sex appeal and can’t picture him having any chemistry with Lilly. This is such a turn-off that I don’t know if I’ll be able to pick up the rest of the book series… I won’t watch the movie if I have to see this guy carry on his bad acting,

You should definitely continue reading the series and the Infernal Devices series too =D ! The books are too good to be ruined by the movie’s cast… just don’t think of JCB while you read them =/

He ruined Camelot. I saw the pilot episode and every time he opened his mouth, I winced. His voice is not of a dreamy Brit but of an annoying boy who doesn’t seem to talk normally. Pretty sure I won’t continue watching the rest of the series. His being cast for the role of Jace kinda sorta ruined my life –almost–. The Mortal Instruments series is my favorite YA series of all time and I don’t want to see it go down in flames. I know he can’t act, but Alex Pettyfer was my dream Jace and I hate to see him be pushed out by Jamie
