Charlie Bewley Supports His Brother’s Walk for Alzheimer’s Disease

Twilight actor Charlie Bewley, who plays vampire Demetri, is auctioning off some of his pants for charity.
His little brother Andy, who lives in Melton Mowbray, is raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK after their grandma was diagnosed 3 years ago
The 19-year-old is walking 240 miles from London to Paris, to raise thousands of pounds. He’ll set off from Big Ben today [June 27, 2011] and aims to reach the Eiffel Tower in eight days.
The drama student is being joined by his mate Jack, both of their grandmothers have Alzheimer’s. The plan is to walk 30 miles a day and on the way, come up with more fundraising ideas.
Andy told Capital:
“It’s our ambition to do an annual event to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. We want to push our minds and bodies as far as they will go to help defeat this devastating disease, which spreads its roots far beyond the patient.”
