Xavier Samuel to Star in ‘Drift’

Xavier Samuel has joined Sam Worthington and Myles Pollard in the surfing drama, Drift.
Set in Western Australia in the early seventies, “Drift” centers on two brothers who open a surf-wear store and eventually build an empire. Pic explores the ins and outs of the surfing world, as well as its commercialization, through the tale of these two brothers.
The $11.3 million pic will be co-helmed by Morgan O’Neill, who penned the script, and Ben Nott.
