Rachelle Lefevre Designs Shoe for Stuart Weitzman’s Charity Auction

Rachelle Lefevre lent her creativity to Stuart Weitzman’s charity auction benefiting Ovarian Cancer Canada. Her one-of-a-kind shoe is titled ‘Word Nerd’. You can bid in this auction here.
Rachelle on her design:
“I love fashion. A lot. I shop often, buying new, vintage and designer items and I can be spotted regularly reading Vogue, Bazaar, Flare, Zink & Elle (to name only a few). For a long time I was defensive about this fact, thinking, sometimes correctly, that people would assume that just because I was a girl who really cared about clothes that somehow that meant I wasn’t smart. I would find myself drawing attention to my love of books and poetry, my obsession with the New York Times crossword and openly declaring my love for Jon Stewart. I no longer feel the need to explain myself or justify my love of fashion but just in case you were about to make the mistake of underestimating the intelligence of the next girl you see carrying a Louis Vuitton handbag- I put the reminder right there on the stiletto.”
