“Honestly, I’ve always thought of them as very different animals,” answered Jacobson when prompted about the comparisons at a recent “Hunger Games” roundtable discussion. “I think that they have actually very different fan bases and they are very different books. And so, honestly, I’ve never really understood the comparison and…it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, honestly, because I think they’re quite distinctive books. Very, very different.”

These are two completely different movies! At least young adults and us older adults read! Its amazing that people are reading more now..look out for The Host! among others ..I started with Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys and have never stopped reading as have many others.
I love the fact that each deliver a good story/message altho I hate to see all the young people killed in Hunger Games.Sorry if I love the Twilight Saga best, a love story with the vampire twist. At least the vampires in Twilight don’t waste blood all over themselves like in other vampire books/shows, they are neat and clean

The only thing that Twilight and Hunger Games have in common is that they both have teenagers as the main characters. That’s it. Why do people keep trying to compare them?
