New role in The Host set to cement Soarise Ronan as Hollywood royalty

irishcentral.com predicts Saoirse Ronan will be catapulted into the spotlight much like Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence:
The film, which is still in production, stars Irish Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan as the lead character of Melanie, whose soul is taken over by an alien named Wanderer – but she still finds it in herself to fall in love with a human named Jared, played by Max Irons.
“It’s kind of an alien love story,” director Andrew Niccol told People magazine.
The Host was a New York Times bestseller for 26 weeks. Given Meyer’s huge fan base, it’s not a stretch to think that the film adaptation of her work will put many more millions into her bank account . . . and catapult the nearly 18-year-old Ronan into the orbit of other young stars like Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence.
