Location: I am married for 23 years to my soulmate and enjoying life on Long Island with my hubby, two beautiful daughters and my very handsome son.
Focus: My focus on the forums is mainly to help the moderators keep the forums running smoothly on a daily basis. This includes answering questions from moderators and members, stepping in to help smooth over rough waters that occur from time to time, and lending an ear to someone who just needs to have someone to listen to them at that moment. (unlike Edward, we are all human afterall ;) ) Along with AmyO, I make sure that we always have enough moderators for all of our groups. I am also the “Go to Admins” when your color and rank changes. I update daily, any members whose rank has changed, because I know how much fun it is for our members to reach each new color level.

Websites: Hmm….my favorite websites; well, of course it’s a no brainer TwilightMOMs is my favorite one. I recently “caved in” and opened a Facebook account, and must admit I am having fun on it. I also visit youtube, alot of the News sites, on line shopping sites, and MundieMOMs.
Quotes:
My favorite Twilight quote is significant of my user name, Lisa 314. I love, “You are my life now,” which Edward says to Bella on page 314 of Twilight. For me, that sums up what the entire series is about. From that point on Bella IS Edward’s life.
Another favorite quote: “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent”, by Eleanor Roosevelt. This speaks volumes as to the type of person you choose to be.
Interests: My main hobby is my crafts. Before my children were born, I did weekly craft shows selling my items. Someday soon, I hope to get back into that. I have been sewing and designing for over 40 years, including designing and making a wedding gown for my sister. I also do alot of reading, baking, crocheting and love to be active in my children’s lives. I love to decorate my home and my favorite color is purple!
Books: I love all books by Nelson DeMille, a fellow Long Islander.
Movies: My favorite movie of all time, around which my wedding was themed, is “Gone with the Wind.”
Shows: I watch TV, but, don’t really have a “favorite show.”
Music: I adore the music of Elton John, Josh Groban, Bruce Springsteen and Carrie Underwood, to name a few.
More:
I am a graduate of Stony Brook University, with a degree in Developmental Psychology and a minor in Sociology. After school, I worked as a merchandise buyer for a Home furnishings store until my children were born.
I find it to be both a privilege and an honor to be a part of an amazing admins staff here on TwilightMOMs. I have also made so many special extraordinary friends here on the site, it is almost mind boggling. As for life outside of TMs, I live for my hubby and my kids. I am very active in their lives and plan to stay that way, as long as the forces that be, see fit for me to do so.
