In the video they say that Jackson will be appearing on episode 6 of the show, and that there is a chance he’ll have a recurring role.

I love that Xavier got recognition as Riley! The Twilight Saga is no stranger to the Scream Awards: At Scream 2009, Twilight won Best Fantasy Movie, Kristin won Best Fantasy Actress, Rob won Best Fantasy Actor, and Taylor won Best Breakout Performance – Male. (New Moon was released after Scream 2009, and it looks like Spike decided to focus on Eclipse for Scream 2010)

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg tells me she’s been in Baton Rouge with director Bill Condon doing rewrites for the scripts for the two BD movies.

“We’re working on it,” Rosenberg says of baby Renesmee’s less-than-pretty arrival. “And we’re working on it to be as intense as it is in the book.”

Yikes. That could be a whole lotta gore.

“I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show,” Rosenberg says. “It’s about the intensity of it. It’s on their faces. It’s all from Bella’s point of view when you’re seeing what’s going. It should feel visceral. I think it’s going to be pretty intense.”

What’s Rosenberg’s ETA on the final scripts? “It better damn well be before the beginning of November,” she says, “because that’s when we start shooting.”

The Horror Channel talked with Xavier and his costar Robin McLeavy on the red carpet (you can skip ahead to the :53 second mark for The Loved Ones coverage, and then Xavier talks about Eclipse around the 1:55 minute mark).

I got an email over the weekend from a fellow Twilight fan in Baton Rouge. Here are some details she sent me regarding Pre-Production of Breaking Dawn:

* studio is secure and gated but busy.
* a lot of construction going on in the lots (unsure if related to filming or not, it seems likely)
* they are using the lot across from studio also (for storage and vehicles at this point)
* Bill Condon has been spotted in town and is staying at a private location not too far from studios

Recently, Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the highly lucrative film series The Twilight Saga, announced that filming for the franchise’s final chapter, Breaking Dawn, will partially take place in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A source within the Louisiana Film Commission has disclosed to me that members of the Breaking Dawn production crew have already scouted out the location they are planning to use for the film; which the studio is releasing in two parts.

The scene will be the final confrontation between the Cullen clan, who are joined by the Quileute wolf pack and their friends, and the Volturi. The scene, most of which is taken directly from the novel, has been extended to include several physical fights. It is expected that many Twilight fans will be flocking to Louisiana when the studio begins filming in the area; which is why the exact area the production team has decided on is being kept tightly under wrap.

The very first day he got Twitter, Kellan posted a picture of himself wearing a SBP shirt, and this morning AnnaLynne urging voters to go online and vote for the St. Bernard Project in the Pepsi Refresh Challenge. With this $250,000, the St. Bernard Project will also be able to expand their Center for Wellness and Mental Health to provide vital mental health services to victims of the oil spill and provide jobs for out of work fishermen doing construction on Katrina-ravaged homes. Voting started August 2nd and will go until August 31st.
