Twilight Saga screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg will be returning to this year’s Austin Film Festival as a guest panelist. And, according to an announcement from the organizers, she will be showing a clip from New Moon during her panel.

ComingSoon.net is reporting that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will begin filming in Vancouver on August 17th. Filming is scheduled to wrap on October 31st.

Summit Entertainment is holding an online casting call for the roles of Seth Clearwater and Leah Clearwater.

Seth is a Quileute Indian and the youngest member of the La Push wolf pack. He is a tall, gangly limbed boy with a huge, happy grin, the son of Harry and Sue Clearwater and the younger brother of Leah. Seth idolizes Jacob – and is always eager to please. NOTE: This is an excellent opportunity for Native American and First Nations actors. Seeking age 14-19 to play age 15.

Leah is a Quileute Indian and the only female member of the La Push wolf pack. She is tall and slender with beautiful skin and short cropped black hair. She would be considered gorgeous if not for the perpetual scowl she carries due to a broken heart and her anger issues. She is the daughter of Harry and Sue Clearwater and the protective older sister of Seth. NOTE: This is an excellent opportunity for Native American and First Nations actors. Seeking age 18–25 to play 19.

Montepulciano Prepares for Saint Marcus Day

TwilightersItalia has some great pictures up of the city of Montepulciano as it transforms into Volterra. The red flags and banners are going up everywhere!

According to their site:

They’re preparing for Saint Marcus day! Today a pickup loaded with red flags and ensigns was spotted in the main square, Piazza Grande. A few hours later all over the front of the city hall there were those flags pinned. Meanwhile, the fountain is now almost finished and today it was painted with waterproof so now it seems a little more whitish!

Kellan recently did an interview with Kyle and Jackie O on Australian Radio. What did he have to say about the next film in the series and his costar?

How is New Moon different than Twilight? “It’s more action based, not as much a love story. It’s more about the best friend relationship (Bella and Jacob) and the CGI.”

Is he jealous of all the attention Rob gets? “I have cut-outs of Rob’s magazine and put my face on them.” (Joking)
