Per Entertainment Weekly, a new extended version of Breaking Dawn Part 1 will be released on March 2nd. This version will feature an extra 8 minutes of footage. The still featured at right is an image of one of the extra scenes.

Weekend sales of Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD are estimated at 3.2 million DVD and Blu-ray copies sold, 50,000 digital copies sold, and 80,000 rentals via video-on-demand. Not too shabby!
